Ghazi Rayan MD

Ghazi Rayan is an emeritus professor of orthopedic surgery at the University of Oklahoma Health Sciences Center. He established Oklahoma's first Hand Surgery fellowship and served as president of the American Society for Surgery of the Hand. Ghazi devoted his professional career serving his community, providing remedial care to his patients along with offering scientific knowledge in the form of research and teaching to medical students, residents and fellows both locally and internationally. He published several academic books, over 40 book chapters, and more than 200 scientific articles.

In his semiretirement he authored six non-fiction books; two self-help inspirational books and a series of four books related to American immigrants and history.

Ghazi resides in Oklahoma City with his wife, enjoying biking, reading, writing and traveling.
