Lesley Cooper

Lesley is the founder of WorkingWell Limited; a specialist employee health and performance consultancy based in London, whose focus is the proactive and cost-effective management of employee wellbeing and performance.

A health management consultant, with a broad business to business background, she has over 25 years’ experience in the design and delivery of all elements of employee psychosocial risk management programmes. Her specific expertise is in giving clients the tools to expose the variables in the pressure – resilience - performance dynamic, building leadership and team engagement with the wellbeing management process and the design and delivery of workgroup led approaches that senior leadership to create a culture that supports psychological safety and sustainable high performance.

She is a regular speaker, both in the UK and overseas, about occupational stress, team and personal resilience, energy management and the active use of pressure and recovery as a catalyst for sustainable high performance. She is co-author with the late Dr Stephen Williams of ‘Dangerous Waters – Strategies for Improving Wellbeing at Work’, published by John Wiley & Sons, and ‘Managing Workplace Stress – a best practice blueprint’ published by CBI Books. She has also contributed to several TV and Radio programmes and about employee wellbeing, including Channel 4’s highly acclaimed documentary “Stressed Out”. She is also a full member of the International Stress Management Association.

She lives in Surrey with her husband, three grown up children, four horses and the family boxer dog.
