For over 10 years I have been working as a food photographer with restaurants around Columbus and have had the opportunity to talk to the owners and chefs about their establishments and what makes each spot unique. I always liked learning about the history of each place and thought it made the dining experience more enjoyable. Part of the reason why I wanted to make this book was to tell those stories to a wider audience that wouldn’t normally get an opportunity to really learn about the amazing establishments that make up the amazing food scene here in Columbus. I also wanted to make this book to showcase how diverse the culinary scene is and shed some light on some of the lesser known spots around town.
