Joseph Welch

Joseph Welch enjoys writing speculative fiction, including science fiction, fantasy and horror. He is an emerging author who continues to spin a few tales, mostly short stories, and has a couple of novels in progress.

A self-proclaimed nerd, Joseph has interests in SciFi, Fantasy, Anime and Manga. A lifelong Washingtonian, it all started back in '84 in Seattle, and he's fed himself on a steady diet of imagination and wonder since. He thinks up his new worlds while running or playing piano and always has the help, perspective – and patience! – of his keen beta readers. Besides writing, running or playing keyboard, cooking, translating Japanese manga, and software development/computer programming fill his schedule.

Joseph earned his Associate of Science degree from Ohio University. He is currently a Senior at Ohio University with emphases in English, Sociology and Psychology. He is a Distinguished Toastmaster (DTM), the highest award Toastmasters International bestows for excellence in both communication and leadership. Joseph is a board member of the 1000-Mile Running Club.
