Graeme L. Cohen

Graeme Cohen is a retired professor of Mathematics, an Historian of Mathematics, and an author of many books and courses on these subjects published by Cambridge and other prestigious publishers. While mathematics books may not be the favourite bedtime read of of most Amazon readers, his latest book is fated to become just that.

It is a novel about an Irish immigrant who became the most prolific publisher of mathematical papers in 19th century Australia. It is a great read.

Opinionated and volatile, this flawed genius managed to alienate his colleagues and his family, but not the many ladies who found him ever so attractive. Written in outstanding style and with great aplomb as well as with historical accuracy, this book is chanelling Graeme's own genius, and his understanding of the ways of mathematicians with Asperger's Syndrome.

Graeme Cohen is a distinguished Fellow of the Royal Society of NSW (as was Martin Gardiner)
