Michael Clawson

Michael Clawson is a Phoenix-based writer and journalist whose work has appeared in publications around the country. He is the editor of four prestigious art magazines: Western Art Collector, Native American Art, American Fine Art Magazine and American Art Collector. His writing has primarily been focused on arts and culture, including film and music. Prior to his current endeavors, he was a film critic and concert photographer for outlets throughout the country. In 2013, he turned to American fine art with an emphasis on contemporary and historic Western art. He is also the host of The American Art Collective, a weekly podcast devoted to all aspects of the American art market.
