I am promoting my title on Amazon, Nicholas II - Tsar to Saint, the ruler that lost a dynasty.

I was born and live in London. Putting together this work was a challenge because of the deviations from the path along the life of the protagonist. I didn't want it to be just another bio on the man. I hoped to draw the reader in to their world and give a rare perspective from what a reasonably intelligent person would have known and what was generally known in the salons and aristocratic circles. The order of chapters therefore had to be reworked several times to keep the main theme of Nicholas II running through it. Eventually I found the balance between the world of that period in Russia and the life of the royal family. There are just a few military leaders, politicians and church officials that move through the chapters, to keep things simple, with an extra focus on characters like Sergey Witte, Mikhail Rodzianko and Rasputin who in some sense symbolise the wider influence of the Government, Duma and Church.

I am looking to accompany this book with a work incorporating several memoirs from my research that I feel could justly be given a new life, even though for the most part the work would be made from material already in the public domain.
