Kim M. Talbert

Kim M. Talbert was born and raised in Southwest Philadelphia. Kim moved to Pittsburgh, PA where she attended The University of Pittsburgh. There she met and married her husband of thirty-one years. God blessed them with two sons, Shawn and Gregory. Kim has been writing since she was a child and fulfilled her lifelong dream of writing and publishing her first book in August of 2022. The Journey to My Healing: Walking through Adversity God's Way was written during Kim's six months of receiving chemotherapy for Stage 3 Colon Cancer. She used that experience to encourage others while she waited for her own personal healing. She has written over one hundred poems and songs. Kim enjoys singing, dancing, reading, writing, drawing and making custom greeting cards. Her favorite pastime is spending time with family and friends and volunteering at her church. Kim is a Christian and gives all honor to God for the ability to write with the hope of encouraging others.
