Kyle Vernon

Originally from Midland, Texas and now living in Lubbock, Texas, Kyle Vernon has taught assorted topics for thirty-three years across four nations spanning US & Europe, including working in a combat zone as a civilian contract instructor for Central Texas College and the US Army.

As a senior in High School in 1983, he created a board game about his hometown. Called “Midland Millions,” it went on to break state and national sales records with the help of a talented cadre of other high school students. Vernon graduated from Midland College in 1986 and Texas Tech University in 1990.

Married for thirty-four years to Teri, it was her service in the US Army that transported their young family to England 1999-2003 where Digby first found “life” as a series of bedtime stories. With retirement from teaching approaching, this is the first book dealing with the adventures of Digby. Vernon now teaches Astronomy, Earth and Space Science, and Physics at Frenship High School in Wolfforth, Texas.
