Aleco Julius

Aleco Julius is a teacher, writer of essays and fiction, and book collector. Much of his work explores cosmic themes, weird literary lore, myth, and knowledge both wonderful and strange. His writing has appeared in Vastarien literary journal, the folk horror magazine Hellebore, and Cold Signal Magazine. He has also published pieces for the esoteric books Seeds of Ares and A Wayfarer’s Hearth from Anathema Publishing, as well as Fantomes and the Holland Files. Look for his stories in Dark Matter Magazine, Anterior Skies, Myth & Lore, and more. He lives in Chicago with his wife and two daughters. On weekends he is often found in the pit at a crushing doom metal show.
