Matthew Thomas

Matthew is an energetic talent development professional with 20+ years of experience of helping grow people to grow organizations. His experience comes from the manufacturing and construction industries where he creates talent development strategies that support a culture of people growth for company growth. He drives the organizational talent development strategies through the design of behavioral based competency mapping that focuses on the whole employee life-cycle. By connecting recruiting, hiring, performance management, succession, training, and leadership, people growth is aligned with successful company growth.

He is also an active member in the community. He has held board positions on Junior Achievement of OKI, The First Tee of Cincinnati, and Xavier University’s Executive Mentor Advisory Board. Along with his board positions, he volunteer teaches economics at Loveland High School as a Junior Achievement Business Consultant, and mentors Xavier University students on career planning.

Matthew received his B.S.B.A. undergraduate degree from Xavier University with majors in Management and Entrepreneurial Studies. Additionally, he received his M.B.A. degree from Xavier University with a concentration in Management. He is also a graduate of the inaugural class of Founder Institute of Cincinnati.
