Donna Maria Thomas

Dr Donna Maria Thomas is a Research Fellow at the University of Central Lancashire, author and independent researcher. For the past 20 years, Donna has researched with children, young people and adults across many areas of social life, including health, education and community. As a child, Donna survived two automobile accidents, one a hit and run, the other a car crash. In both cases, Donna had out of body and near death type experiences which have shaped the research Donna conducts with children, young people and families. Donna has published several academic peer-reviewed articles, writes public articles and conducts studies across the world.
