Prof. Fazal Ahmad is a pioneering radiology educator, academic leader, and internationally published author whose work has contributed significantly to the foundation and growth of radiology and allied health education in India. With more than twenty two years of sustained teaching, authorship, and institutional leadership, he is widely respected for integrating life sciences, clinical imaging, and skill-based education into a coherent and learner focused academic framework.

He holds a strong postgraduate background in Life Sciences with specialization in Anatomy and Physiology, which formed the academic base for his advanced work in radiology and medical imaging education. Prof. Ahmad entered the field during its early academic phase, when formal Bachelor level Radiology programs were first being introduced at institutional level in Bihar in 2003. His professional journey progressed alongside the evolution of radiology education itself, allowing him to play a formative role in shaping technical teaching and curriculum delivery during the discipline’s developmental years.

To strengthen his clinical and technical expertise, he completed postgraduate professional training in Radiology and Imaging Technology and continued his academic growth through structured learning in Alternative Medicine sciences and advanced clinical radiology and medical imaging education completed through an international professional learning program in 2025. His multidisciplinary approach reflects a lifelong commitment to continuous learning and integrated healthcare education.

Prof. Ahmad is the first author of a radiology textbook from Bihar, marking a milestone in the region’s academic publishing history. He has authored and co-authored multiple radiology and allied health books, all carrying ISBN registration and distributed worldwide.
