Bruno Angelo Costa Avalos (Viña del Mar, Chile, December 19, 1986). He began his career studying Commercial Engineering, graduating with honors. He then traveled to the United States to pursue a diploma in Marketing, later dedicating himself to content writing for marketing and advertising on a freelance basis. Gradually, he has been moving away from commercial writing to become a fiction writer with a focus on science fiction, fantasy, thriller, action, and adventure from a non-traditional perspective. He has been awarded twice at the International Latino Book Awards; first in the 2020 edition with the Spanish version of “Death Mask: The Fate of the Half-Dead Man” in the category “Best Novel Fantasy/Sci-fi” with a bronze medal, and then in the 2023 edition with “Homo Sapiens Evoluti” in the category Best Novel Science Fiction” with a gold medal. His storytelling style focuses on creating complex worlds that host characters with various layers that allow them to adapt to worlds full of obstacles and adversities, which gives his stories a special degree of challenge.
