AUTHOR & SPEAKER / EXTRAORDINARY CENTENARIAN / KIBBUTZ PIONEER / WW II VETERAN BRITISH INTELLIGENCE / INTERIOR DESIGNER /

About 70 million people fought in World War II. By now, only about 1% are still alive and 1,000-1,500 die each day. I am one of those still alive to tell the story as I lived it.

I was born in 1921 in Berlin, into a German-Jewish family. At sixteen I escaped Nazi Germany to British Palestine, where I became a Kibbutz pioneer, drying the swamps. As World War II developed, and the Nazi Army under Rommel's command landed in Africa, I enlisted in the British Army and fought in Africa, Italy, and Greece, as a member of the British Intelligence Service, and participating in the Battle of Anzio and the liberation of Rome. I was 23 years old. Meanwhile, my family had managed to escape to faraway Chile. At the end of the war, after 10 years of separation, I visited them and settled there, becoming an Interior Designer. Years later I decided to write my story, now published world-wide.

I am now 102 years old, a centenarian on a Mission: to tell the story, to be a keeper of Memory. I am active as an Author and Speaker, in person or virtually, in schools, cultural institutions, military entities, and public or private events, I share my story, the events I witnessed and acted on, and inspire others on resilience, values, and quality longevity.
