Colleen Brown

Colleen Brown is a YA/Adult multi-genre author who crafts character-driven dark fantasy with grim themes and a splash of forbidden romance, set in elaborate macabre settings. She’s an active member of the Red Herring Society, having had short stories included in their Meet Me At Midnight Anthology and All The Promises We Cannot Keep. She’s also been published by Quill & Flame Publishers and Literary Pearl Editing in their Tales, Scales & Tiaras Anthology, and will be published in their Seasons of Romantasy: Winter in 2026.

When not writing dark fantasy, horror, and contemporary romance, Colleen can be found catering to two cat overlords, managing eleven tiny dinosaurs, training a cotton-headed ninny muggin Border Collie, and enjoying Netflix hits with her family tucked away in the mountains of Pennsylvania.
