In 1985, seeking new adventures I made the decision to settle permanently in Australia. However, I have never forgotten my Yorkshire heritage. The memories of childhood adventures in Yorkshire continue to inspire me, and with each written word, it pays homage to my Yorkshire origins and the enduring connection to the peaceful countryside that will forever inspire creative endeavours

I frequently return to Hebden Bridge, the town that represents my grass roots. It is within the embrace of this enchanting location that I draw inspiration for my junior fiction books, infusing them with the very essence of Yorkshire's landscapes, folklore, and captivating charm.
