Vikki Marmaras

If Vikki seems distracted, it's probably because she's thinking about a new story.

She writes most nights and is constantly updating the notes app on her phone to keep track of new ideas.

Characters Vikki has written about include a hiccup, a bookworm, a princess, a pirate, a curious dog and a grumpy old oak tree.

Vikki has two published picture books, and a third due out soon.

Vikki is largely inspired by her two children, who give her most of the ideas for her stories.

She currently splits her time between Milton Keynes in the UK and Melbourne in Australia.
