Born and raised in the South, I offer a lifetime of gravy-good tales, anecdotes, and characters, just like the ones in my latest book, "I Hear Smoke." I love being from the South and all its peculiar rituals and passionate living. I'm a proud graduate of the University of Alabama. I love comedy, especially stories about everyday country folks. I never want to get to the point that I cannot laugh at something funny and true. Even if you're poking fun at this ole Southern gal, it makes for the best stories.
