Born in a small town in Ontario, Canada on the banks of the gorgeous St. Lawrence River in a simpler time, I enjoyed an idyllic childhood. Brockville is situated at the eastern end of the 1000 Islands archipelago and being raised there in the 50's and 60's was about as good as it gets.

After high school, I attended Queen's University at Kingston, Ontario, about fifty miles west of Brockville, itself a stunning location. After graduating from Queen's in the late 60's, I landed in the analytical laboratory instrument business and enjoyed a successful career somewhat tainted, I guess, by too many job changes and too many moves.

But, along the way I travelled the world, had two kids, enjoyed a lot of excitement and met a lot of amazing people, and a man can't ask for much more than that. Especially when I finally settled down about twelve years ago after I re-connected with childhood acquaintance Judi who had also been raised in Brockville. We had an instant connection and have been together night and day ever since. Or getting together is the best thing that ever happened to me.

I had been writing all my life, scientific papers, golf travel articles, advertising material, technical manuals and so on, and completed my first, and as yet unpublished, novel in 1988. I retired when I married Judi, and we began writing together full-time, producing three novels in succession.

'Love in Sayre Valley' is a classic love story published in May 2022, and doing well. 'The Letter', about love on steroids caught in a vortex of danger and intrigue, is scheduled for release in August 2023, and 'Unthinkable' an action/adventure/thriller with a blockbuster ending expected in mid-2024.

I'm currently re-writing 'Served Cold', my first novel, a dark story about sexual violence and punishment that fits the crime. I detest bullying in all of its forms and still like the story the book tells. I've fiddled a bit with a sequel to 'Love in Sayre Valley', but it's currently on the back burner.

We live quietly in a cliché over-55 golf community in central Florida with two dogs and a huge, lazy, black cat.
