Dusty Clark

Dr. Dusty Clark is an Atlanta based educator with 30+ years of experience in various teaching roles. She has a Ph.D. in Administration and is currently a Reading Specialist at an elementary school. Her love of children's literature developed in college while reading to a class that loved her different character voices. It was the moment she knew she someday wanted to write a children's book. When not teaching, she likes to travel and is a self-proclaimed sweet tea addict. She's married to a first responder and also teaches in higher education. Dr. Clark has written and published two children's books. Her debut book is titled Buffalo Moon, which is about a Native American girl who is afraid of the dark, but must learn to overcome that fear when a family member falls ill, and her second book is titled Jemma and June, which is based on a true story. In this story, two unlikely farm animal friends use their strengths to reach a common goal despite being bullied along their journey.
