Lorraine Kate has an avid imagination and has always loved reading. Ever since she was a little girl, she loved imagining new stories and found solace in reading, music, movies, and fantasy.

She began writing her first novel, A Heart of Embers and Shadows, the first book in the Phoenix Stone Saga in 2020. Now, three years later, her dream has become a reality, and is publishing her first novel.

When she isn’t a mother or working as a firefighter/AEMT, she loves to read and write, sing, relax in the sun, hike or camp in the mountains, exercise, or just be with her family.

Lorraine resides in Utah with her husband and daughters.
