Milka Sternheim

Milka Sternheim has loved France since she secretly smoked her first Gauloise on a school trip to Lyon at the age of 15. Today, as a mother of four and scientific professional, she would not readily admit that - which is why Milka Sternheim is not her real name. What is true, however, are her experiences in this wonderful country and her great love for the art of cooking.

Milka's first fiction book tells about her finding a hopeful antidote to the depressing situation of the Covid lockdown: the great adventure of renovating an old house in France. With her family, she set out to discover the country she thought she already knew. In "Bonjour, lockdown!", she tells the multitude of surprises - both good and bad - that the big adventure had in store for her. She also reveals the recipes of many dishes she cooked for the wonderful people she met. Milka hopes to open a bistro on her old "mas" in a few years, but shhh!, that's supposed to be a secret!
