Lori Z. Scott

Wheaton College graduate Lori Z. Scott adores anything that makes her smile. Like cartoons. Fuzzy socks. And well-penned sticky notes. She’s taught elementary school for over 25 years, mostly for the free hugs. After accidentally writing a best-selling chapter book series, she deliberately contributed to 15 books and published over 200 articles, short stories, poems, and devotions for magazines like Brio and Focus on the Family. Additionally, she writes articles for Story Embers, an online Christian writing community. In 2022, Lori introduced her award-winning YA novel Inside the Ten-Foot Line. 2023 brought Offsides, the second book in the series and the Christy Award Winner for YA Fiction.
