Filmore Liebhund is a real Hungarian Sheep dog and an aspiring author...who is part of a real family in Pewaukee, WI.
David J. Liebherr provides the human hand that is behind the paw-of-authorship (pawthorship) of Filmore. David is a retired pastor of over thirty years, including in youth ministries. He and his wife Karla have thirteen children of their own...besides their dog-son, Filmore. Being in the ministry and raising two daughters and eleven sons has given David a keen insight into what makes Filmore's shepherd's-heart tick. Together, Filmore and his alpha-Dad make a great team in helping kid's understand and access such topics as building good character, making friends, handling bullies and other challenging relationships, finding their purpose, overcoming fears, resolving conflicts and tapping into the power of real love!
Abraham Liebherr is a college graduate holding a degree in computer animation and computer science. Using his artistic talents, Abe brings Filmore's character to life in a colorful, engaging and hilarious way. --This text refers to an out of print or unavailable edition of this title.
