Lena Hall

Lena Hall was born in Kingston Jamaica and migrated to Ontario Canada where she earned a Bachelor’s degree in Psychology from York University. She then migrated to the United States where she obtained an M.A. in Psychology, and an M.Ed. in Psychological Counselling and Rehabilitation from Columbia University. She later obtained a Ph.D. in Counselling Psychology from the University of Florida. Her career which spanned more than three decades included her role as a practicing psychologist and college professor. Hall is a published writer and her works include, a Psychology Textbook, a Dictionary of Multicultural Psychology and A Psychology of the American Culture. She is retired, and enjoys writing, listening to music and travelling with her siblings during the summer months.
