Barbara De Smedt

Barbara De Smedt debuted in 2020 with the psychological thriller ALONE, based on her personal experience with a stalker. ALONE was nominated for two thriller awards in The Netherlands and became very successful, resulting in the English translation in July 2023.

Born in Antwerp, Belgium, Barbara now lives in Portugal.
