Joris Kaper

Joris Kaper is a Dutch journalist who writes for various (national) sports media. In 2017 he has an interview with former Ghanian footballer Nii Lamptey and they decide to write his biography together. Joris travels to Ghana to work on the project with Lamptey in person. In The Netherlands, the book was nominated for Staantribune Football Book of the Year 2019.

Soon after, PSV Eindhoven, a former club of Lamptey, makes a documentary about him and a English documentary is being made as we speak as well. In 2023, Pitch Publishing publishes the English version of the book, making it available worldwide.

Joris's next book, about PSV Eindhoven during the Second World War, will be published in 2023.
