JENNIFER MILITZER-KOPPERL

Jennifer Militzer-Kopperl is the author of the Roadmap to Literacy Books and the creator of Renewal of Literacy.

Upon completion of Waldorf teacher training (2005), Jennifer worked with Waldorf students, including every child from one family. The parents asked why their children were struggling with reading and spelling when they had done everything right. Jennifer explained several causes of their children's struggles--and the parents asked her to get the word out to the greater Waldorf community.

The Roadmap to Literacy Books fulfill that promise. They combine Jennifer’s background in languages and linguistics, remedial reading instruction, and Waldorf education. They explain how to teach literacy—starting with reading and spelling instruction (and a solution to the reading wars) and working through advanced aspects of language arts and the Waldorf subject curriculum.
