CJ McKay

It took CJ McKay 4 years to write her current book, The Elementalists: The Boy In The Mirror - her first book of many. She started writing it her junior year of high school. She started out by putting together "profile" pages of each character. Then she wrote out the dialog, after which she started putting the story together. She also spent many hours researching the Latin language. Some of the characters are based off of people in her life and some of the locations are based off of places she remembers from her childhood. The Elementalists will be a 7 book series - she's working on the second book now (as of June 2023).
