Martuka

Marta García Pérez (Martuka) was born in Barcelona in 1980. Although she studied graphic design, she soon discovered that her true passion was drawing. Since then, she has specialized in children's illustration and has worked in the industry, creating illustrations for books, board games, and school notebooks, designing characters, and taking on art direction tasks. She has collaborated with different publishers such as Grupo SM, Penguin Random House, RBA, Barcanova, and Grupo Planeta.

In her free time, besides illustrating, she has explored other interests such as playing the ukulele and learning English. However, she always comes back to drawing, as she believes that there is always something new to learn and improve in order to continue growing as an artist.
