Albert Gunn

Albert Gunn has worked the tropics, crossed continents, and seen more of the world than most. Raised on the islands of North Queensland, he started out as a mackerel fisherman and trochus shell diver before chasing stories across deserts, cities, and coastlines from Australia to the Americas, Asia to the Arctic.

His novels lean into realism, drawn from years on the road and off the grid—urban and outback, local and global. When not travelling or working on his next novel, he enjoys researching and shaping facts into quiz books for his 'So, You Think You Know?' series. He’s also written two children’s books, each built with the same eye for story and detail, just tuned for younger minds.
