Sarah K. Lenz is an essayist, literary arts educator, and the author of What Will Outlast Me? (Unsolicited Press 2023). Her creative nonfiction has appeared in Colorado Review, New Letters, Triquarterly, The Fourth River, Swamp Pink, Texas Review, Pen Dust Radio and elsewhere. Her work has been named Notable in Best American Essays three times. Sarah earned an MFA in creative nonfiction from Georgia College in Milledgeville, where her claim to fame is that she once held Flannery O’ Connor’s bra while working as a student-curator at the museum, Andalusia. She also writes the Substack, Spirit: Notes for the Creative Contemplative. Sarah is an Assistant Professor of English at Del Mar College in Corpus Christi, Texas, where she lives with her husband, son, three cats, and twelve typewriters.
