Hans-Joachim Gergs

Dr. Hans-Joachim Gergs, teaches at the renowned TUM School of Business, the University of London and the University of Heidelberg and is a change management consultant at AUDI AG.

After his studies (sociology, economics, psychology) at the Universities of Freiburg and Erlangen-Nuremberg, he was senior researcher at the University of Jena from 1994 to 2000 at the Institute for Sociology of Work, Business and Economics. He was project leader in several international research projects on management and leadership. The focus of his current consulting and research activities is the future of change management, digitalization of the world of work, agility and ambidexterity.

Since 2018, he is co-owner of the Society for Empirical Organizational Research (www.GfeO.eu) a spin-off of the University of Regensburg.
