Edson Brasil Castro

BIOGRAPHY

Edson Brasil de Castro was born in Betim, MG, and is a member of ABARS and vice-president of ABEL. A poet, composer and writer, his passion for literature emerged from the tales and legends of his hometown. After living in Salvador, BA, from 1989 to 2020, he immersed himself in the rich Bahian culture, which shaped his artistic inspiration.

He began his literary career in the 1980s with poems published in local newspapers, revealing a unique sensitivity. He contributed to several poetry anthologies, sharing his authentic voice with the world. His work invites reflection and the beauty of words, touching hearts with depth and sincerity.
