JP Relph (she/her) is a working-class writer from Cumbria, northwest England, mostly hindered by four cats. Tea helps, milk first. She trawls local charity shops to source haunted objects. A passion for microbes, insects and botany often influence her words. JP writes about apocalypses quite a lot (despite not having the knees for one) and her post-apoc flash collection was published by Alien Buddha Press in June 2023. JP recently got a zombie story on the Wigleaf longlist, which may be the best thing ever. Other stories have been nominated for the Pushcart Prize, Best of the Net, Best Small Fictions and Best Microfictions.
JP is now working on two new collections and a zompoc novel set in her hometown.
She is the Founder and Editor of online literary magazine, Trash Cat Lit which highlights flash and short fiction.
