Daniel Stedfast

I spent my youth in the small New England coastal town of Magnolia, Massachusetts, then left home at the early age of 16 due to complicated family dynamics. I learned a lot about myself and life in general before moving to Ohio, then California, returning to Massachusetts, and ultimately New Hampshire, where I’ve resided since 1986. I married a wonderful woman in 1975, and together we’ve raised three strong children who are all happily married and have blessed us with four energetic grandchildren. My early work experience ranged from catching lobsters to restaurant jobs, tending palm trees, sailing, and sorting untanned leather. After starting a family, my career path became more structured; I took on various manufacturing responsibilities in 1980 through 2019 when I retired. The pandemic the following year rekindled my inner writer, and I’ve been writing ever since. Each trip around the sun has been rewarding. We live adjacent to hundreds of acres of woodlands and enjoy watching an abundance of wildlife pass through our yard. I enjoy music, reading, and of course, writing.
