Joni O’Hagan, Executive Director of the Center for Student Success at St. John’s University, has 25 years of experience in higher education within campus activities, leadership development, career services, mentoring, parent and family engagement, and student success. In her current role, she oversees a one-stop hub of resources for first-year students, inclusive of academic and career advising, academic achievement resources and tutoring, mentoring and other first-year transition programs. Additionally, she teaches Public Speaking and Business Writing as an Adjunct Professor at St. John’s. In addition to her full-time responsibilities, she holds memberships in NACADA, AHEPPP, EACE, NACE and NASPA, and MNYCCPOA. She holds a B.A. in History from the University of Delaware, and a M.S. in Education and an Advanced Certificate in Instructional Leadership from St. John’s University.
