Ernesto Mireles

Ernesto Mireles grew up on the border between Piedras Negras, Coahuila, and Eagle Pass, Texas, raised by a journalist, a mayor, a ballet teacher, a lawyer who made the best burgers in town, and the best mom in the universe. He holds a degree in Computer Science from MIT and an MBA from UC Berkeley. Author of four novels in Spanish, his work celebrates diversity and the fusion of cultures, reflecting the narratives, arts, and nostalgic ties that shape our society. Through his publishing imprint Create Sparkle, Ernesto also publishes the fiction of Anneliese Mireles, author of Swinging Alone and Field of Wishes. A proud norteño of two countries, he lives with his family in Massachusetts, where they dance and cook Mexican food inspired by abuela.
