Anne Hull

Anne Hull is a Pulitzer Prize-winning journalist and Florida-born author who spent nearly two decades as a national reporter for the Washington Post. She's written about low-wage workers in poultry plants in the Ozarks, LGBT teenagers coming out in the Bible Belt and Newark, and agricultural fair beauty pageant winners ("The Strawberry Girls" for the The New Yorker magazine.) Anne is a recipient of the Robert F. Kennedy Journalism Award and the Elijah Lovejoy Parish Journalism Award for her coverage of marginalized Americans. She started her journalism career at the St. Petersburg Times (now Tampa Bay Times) in Florida.

She lives in Washington DC.

"Through The Grove: A Memoir" is her first book.
