Paul was born in Ilfracombe in Devon and has spent much of his life travelling and living abroad. Paul was born into a military family, which instilled in him the desire to travel. He grew up with the Dandy and Beano comics which triggered his interest in cartooning. Paul's drawing style was much inspired by Herge, the creator of TinTin.
Paul is now retired and lives in the Netherlands. He spent his career in IT Industry helping individuals, teams and organizations to change their attitudes, behaviors and culture. Paul has co-authored a number of IT related books, both serious and humorous. His books and articles are aimed at making people think and question their beliefs and behaviors. Paul was awarded three life-time achievement awards for his contribution to the IT Service Management Industry, but he suspects that they were given in the hope that he would shut-up and finally go away and annoy somebody else.
Paul's first non-IT book was ‘Being a Daddy: The survival guide' - a tongue-in-cheek look at the battle for dominance between the baby and the Daddy. Originally written when his children were small and the ‘experiences’ and ‘traumas’ were still fresh in his mind. He drew the cartoons for this book himself.
WOW is Paul's first fictional novel which he hopes will also make people think and ask themselves questions about life, the universe and everything.
