Wainscot on the Heloise, a thrilling adventure about rats aboard a 19th Century British warship, is Terry’s first novel, and he is now hard at work on a sequel. He has also completed a young reader’s fantasy novel called Figs, about the trials of a young boy who finds himself trapped in his own dream world. Terry hopes that someday Figs will also see the light of day. Terry lives in the quaint village of Unionville, near Toronto, Canada, with his wife, Tobey and their three dalmatians, There he divides his non-writing time between his beloved family, drawing, reading about, well, everything, and watching too much British mystery TV. And drinking tea, of course. He also occasionally manages to get outside for some fresh air.
