I'm having fun! I write traditional murder mysteries, with the emphasis on the puzzle, a sprinkle of humor, and not a lot of blood and gore.

I love hanging out with my characters:

Zee Morani, a humor columnist dedicated to standing up for the average person against bureaucratic callousness and stupidity

Rico Hahn, her smokin' hot lover, the newspaper crime reporter, who rides a Harley and tries to keep Zee out of trouble

Fontina, Zee's highly intuitive best friend, who is emphatically not psychic (gives the wrong impression, she says) but does read Tarot cards, consult a pendulum, and interpret dreams

Shelby, Zee's childhood imaginary detective, who dispenses advice with the sarcasm of a typical nine-year-old impatient with the thick-headedness of adults

I am thrilled to have Camel Press (an imprint of Epicenter Press) as the publisher of the Zee & Rico Mysteries, Knife Edge and Dark Mirror. I am working now on book three, Blood Stone.
