"Bumble Bee Betty Books", is where you can see my Children's Books, and my Journals for all ages too.

I am primarily a children's book Author, Illustrator, who loves to create worlds for children to relate to, learn from and laugh with! My passion is fueled by the wish to bring fresh, eye catching and inspiring images that accompany my words to inspire! I graduated from University of the Arts in Philadelphia, and have also worked as a Graphic Designer, Freelancer, Teacher, and Painter. As a teacher, I have taught on the college level and preschool. My older painting and illustration work can also be found under my maiden name Marni Backer. Currently, I have been putting all my focus and passion into the Children's books!

I am also a Food Allergy mom, to a wonderful boy that has multiple life-threatening Food Allergies, which too has inspired me to incorporate books about Food Allergies into the mix. Food Allergies Awareness, has come a long way, but it is not at all at the level it should be. With one in 13 kids having some sort of Food Allergy! I think everyone should really have some basic knowledge about them.
