Taylor Collins

Taylor Collins was born and raised in Southern California and currently resides in Long Beach with his wife and kids. Growing up, he was surrounded by music—his grandfather ran a successful instrument retail business and was an avid Jazz musician. This environment led to early exposure to playing and writing music. Collins developed a passion for songwriting, which later evolved into an affinity for poetry and prose. After diving deeper into the art form in college, Collins began writing with more direction and intent.

In his debut poetry collection, “Ramblings of an Introvert,” Taylor examines his past and delves into themes of generational trauma, loss, fatherhood, and discontent as he grapples with the reality of who he’s become and how he’s gotten here.
