Shachar, Ph.D., is a Licensed Psychologist in Philadelphia, Pennsylvania, and has over thirty years of clinical experience working with individuals, couples and families affected by Betrayal Trauma. From the start of her career — with academic research and teaching positions at institutions such as St. Louis University Medical Center, Washington University in St. Louis, University of Missouri - St. Louis, and University of Missouri - Columbia/ Missouri Institute of Mental Health — Dr. Shachar’s work addressed issues of sexuality and intimacy.
