Nick Assunto is a graduate of Salve Regina University's notoriously prestigious Theatre Arts program (it's not known at all, but it was a great time and his teachers were the best) and loves to look at his degree whenever he picks up or puts down a tea mug on that very expensive coaster because a Theatre Arts degree, in this economy?!
He spent over 10 years training at, working for, and sometimes performing at The Upright Citizen's Brigade Theaters in both New York City and Los Angeles and then had his first big moment on television as an audience member on Late Night with Jimmy Fallon who did a Wookie impression.
From there he worked in several low paying commercials as "the goofy guy" required to sell the products. One of which was an eHarmony commercial directed by Limp Bizkit's Fred Durst, and he still feels like it's a lie when he tells people that but it's 100% true.
Nick has been writing comedic scripts for too long, and is a screenwriter represented by Tobias Literary Management. He dreams a simple dream out of life: people paying him lots and lots of money to read his words because they're desperate for a laugh.
