Uta Rosa Schmidt

Uta Rosa Schmidt was born in North Hesse and has been a moderator and reporter for private Hessian broadcaster Hit Radio FFH since 1990."The Girl from the Oak Tree" is her debut novel, which of course she has set close to her birthplace, Frankenberg an der Eder. The sequel will be released in early July 2023: "The Girl from the Oak Tree - Betrayed and sold".

Uta loves to travel, is married and has a dog and a horse. Her sister worked in India for a long time. Hence the background of her heroine Henry, who experienced the tsunami in Chennai/ India.

Uta currently lives in the Wetterau and loves to write in the seclusion of a small village with a view of the beautiful Vogelsberg.
