Born in Bethlehem, I devoted my career to cross-cultural work. I have an MA in Bilingual Multicultural Education and have worked as a linguist-translator with Wycliffe Bible Translators in Vanuatu and countries in Asia and Africa. Currently, my husband, Jim and I assist teams of minority language speakers to internalize, translate and tell Biblical stories in their often-unwritten languages. The process we have designed, involves exploring the intersection between their traditional stories and the Bible stories to develop their theology. I am drawn to this work to further explore the power of storytelling in community in our changing world.
