Robert Mundle

Robert Mundle is a Registered Psychotherapist (CRPO) based in Kingston, Ontario, specializing in couples therapy for partners navigating the relational impact of motor vehicle accidents, trauma, and chronic pain. He provides online psychotherapy for individuals and couples across Ontario.

Robert brings more than 20 years of healthcare experience to his clinical work, including rehabilitation and palliative care, where he saw firsthand how illness, injury, and loss affect not just individuals but their closest relationships. He is the author of How to Be an Even Better Listener: A Practical Guide for Hospice and Palliative Care Volunteers (Jessica Kingsley Publishers, 2018), which draws on his original qualitative research into listening, empathy, and human connection. That research continues to inform how he practices today — helping people make sense of what they've been through and rebuild connection with the people closest to them.

He is a graduate of the University of Toronto and Yale University, and has published research and produced the short film I Hear You!, which explores trauma and the power of being heard.
